The Blue Ox Cafe Story

Nestled among the towering redwoods at Trees of Mystery, our restaurant has been thoughtfully reimagined from the former Forest Cafe into a warm and inviting dining experience that feels both rustic and refined.
 

Our extensive remodel was inspired by the natural beauty of the Northern California redwoods. From the handcrafted redwood interiors, specially milled and planed just for the cafe, to the cozy, welcoming atmosphere, every detail reflects the comfort and character of the majestic redwood forest.

We’ve also added a one-of-a-kind intimate bar featuring just five seats, creating a special place for guests to relax, connect, and enjoy a quiet drink surrounded by the warmth of natural wood and coastal charm.

At the heart of everything we do at Blue Ox cafe is a commitment to simple, satisfying food made with care. We strive to prepare as much as possible from scratch, creating meals that are comforting, flavorful, and feel like home.
